Most trials start on day one, before a page has done anything. We moved ours to the moment that actually matters.
The trigger is a result, not a sign-up
When a page on the free plan reaches 100 real views, 50 link clicks, or gets its first subscriber, Pro switches on for seven days. Nothing to click, no card to enter, nothing to set up. Bot traffic does not count — the same filter your analytics already use.
You get an email and an in-app note within the hour, with what just opened:
- a page without the Linkhiver badge
- analytics breakdowns by device, country and source, and the all-time range
- premium themes, backgrounds and header layouts
- SEO settings and tracking pixels
- subscriber export and webhooks
Custom domains are the one Pro feature that stays closed during a trial. A domain you connect on day three and lose on day eight would be worse than no domain at all, so it unlocks when you subscribe.
Two days before the end, you get your numbers
On day five you receive a second email: how many times your page was viewed during the trial, how many clicks your links took, where your visitors came from, and your most-clicked link. Under it, the plain list of what switches off on the last day. No countdown timers, no discount that expires at midnight — the pricing page shows whatever is current when you get there.
Free stays Free
The trial is Pro switched on on top of the free plan. When it ends, you go back to Free — which never expires, has no trial clock, and keeps every link, theme and QR code you made. Links beyond the free limit stay live; you just cannot add new ones until you upgrade.
One trial per account, ever. If your page is already past one of those numbers today, the trial opens in the first pass after launch.
